Abstract
This pharmacotoxicology course handout is aimed at third-year higher education students in the field of Material Sciences specializing in
pharmaceutical chemistry. It is designed to clarify the main concepts related to pharmacology ; toxicology and to develop the bases necessary for their application in the pharmaceutical field. Pharmacotoxicology encompasses pharmacology and toxicology.
